April 27, 2019 - Today's the day! The ice is out on Mattanawcook Pond.
April 26, 2018 - The ice is out on Mattanawcook Pond! We also got word from Rusty Stevens that Cold Stream Pond is out as of today.
April 23, 2017 - The ice is now out on Mattanawcook Pond! Winter is officially over as the ice finally left the pond late tonight. There are signs of spring everywhere! Get out and enjoy the great outdoors. Is your fishing gear ready? Get your boat, canoe or kayak in the water and have some fun.
March 29, 2016 - The ice is now out on Cold Stream Pond! The ice went out this afternoon, according to Sue Harvey.
March 19 - It's a new record! The ice on Mattanawcook Pond went out today, the earliest since records have been kept (1930). It's nice to see blue water again! The earliest previous date for ice-out on the local pond was March 24, 2010.
April 22, 2015 - The ice is out on Mattanawcook Pond in Lincoln! The ice on Cold Stream Pond went out on Monday, April 27.
April 28, 2014 - The ice is out on Mattanawcook Pond! Caribou Pond is also ice-free.
April 6, 2013 - The ice on Mattanawcook Pond went out overnight!
